Statement Of Purpose

A statement of purpose is a brief statement that outlines your reasons for undertaking a graduate program, your particular area of specialization within the major field, along with your past academic work, and your plans for future occupation or profession.

Personal Achievements / Contributions Statement

These statements are descriptions of different aspects of your personal background, accomplishments, or achievements that you feel are important in evaluating your application for graduate study. This can include any economic challenges you may have experienced in achieving higher education or any unusual or different life experiences.

Post Doctoral Options for Physical Therapy Students

The postdoctoral programs listed provide opportunities for research and education post academic doctoral degree (ie, PhD) for physical therapists. These postdoctoral opportunities are housed in academic institutions that either have physical therapist degree programs or are associated with a physical therapist degree program.
The listing of postdoctoral programs may not be all inclusive as new opportunities are developed, funded, or because APTA has not been notified of an existing program.
